Customer story · BONO

How BONO supports 15 webshops across 21 European markets

Supplement questions answered across fifteen local storefronts and a B2B portal, where the right answer changes with the market it is asked in.

BONO sells food supplements, and it does not sell them the same way twice. Fifteen local webshops serve twenty-one European markets, with a B2B portal alongside them for the businesses that buy in volume. The catalogue rhymes across borders; almost nothing else does.

Fifteen storefronts, twenty-one rulebooks

Running a webshop per market multiplies everything. Shipping times, returns windows, payment methods and delivery partners all differ, so the same question about the same product has a different correct answer depending on which storefront it was asked in.

Supplements add a second layer. What may be said about a product is regulated, and the rules are not uniform across Europe. A helpful sentence in one market is a compliance problem in the next, which makes "just answer the question" the wrong instinct.

And two kinds of customer share the inbox. A consumer asking whether to take something with food is not the same conversation as a retailer chasing a bulk order, an invoice or a delivery window.

What Open does

One agent covers the storefronts rather than fifteen separate setups, answering in the market’s own language and from that market’s own shipping, returns and payment reality.

The ordinary volume of an e-commerce inbox — where an order is, what the returns window is, why a payment failed, when a restock lands — is the work the agent is there to take, on every storefront at once.

Anything that edges toward advice about health goes to a person. A question about dosage, an interaction, or whether a product suits a particular condition is not a question for automation, and keeping that line clean is what makes automating the rest safe.

The Impact

Expanding into another market stops meaning another support burden proportional to the first. The storefront is new; the support operation behind it is the one that already exists.

BONO is not publishing resolution or response-time figures yet. This story will carry them when they exist and BONO is ready to share them.
