What can be synced

Attachments — File attachments with URLs and metadata (actual file content requires additional processing).

How to connect

  1. 1.Go to airtable.com/create/tokens to create a Personal Access Token
  2. 2.Add scope: schema.bases:read and data.records:read
  3. 3.Select which bases to grant access to
  4. 4.In Open, go to AI Training → Sources → Connect Airtable
  5. 5.Choose OAuth or paste your Personal Access Token
  6. 6.Select bases and tables to sync

Good to know

  • OAuth is recommended for simpler setup in Airbyte Cloud
  • If you rename a table in Airtable, reset the connection to continue syncing
  • Deleted tables stop syncing automatically
  • Formula fields sync their computed values
  • Attachment URLs are synced but files need separate download

Security: Open only requires read access to your Airtable. We never write, modify, or delete your content. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. GDPR compliant, working toward SOC 2 Type II.
