Requirements

  • Microsoft Teams enabled in your tenant
  • Microsoft Entra ID admin to register the app
  • Teams Phone with Direct Routing for inbound voice (optional)

How to connect

  1. 1.In Microsoft Entra ID, register an Open app with Teams permissions
  2. 2.In Open, go to Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Teams and authorize
  3. 3.Map channels and individuals to escalation rules
  4. 4.For Teams Phone: configure Direct Routing in your tenant
  5. 5.Test alert and (if applicable) inbound call flow

  • Sovereign clouds (GCC, GCC High, DoD) supported on enterprise plans
  • Direct Routing certified SBC required for Teams Phone
