Requirements
- •Azure Active Directory app with SharePoint API permissions
- •Client ID, Client Secret, and Tenant ID

- •Appropriate permissions for the sites/libraries you want to sync
How to connect
- 1.Register an app in Azure Active Directory with SharePoint permissions
- 2.Grant Sites.Read.All or more specific permissions
- 3.Collect your Azure AD credentials (Client ID, Secret, Tenant ID)
- 4.In Open, go to AI Training → Sources → Connect SharePoint
- 5.Enter your Azure AD credentials and SharePoint site URL
- 6.Select document libraries to sync
Good to know
- Requires Azure AD app registration with appropriate permissions
- Large document libraries may take time for initial sync
- Binary files are synced but need document extraction for text content
- Supports SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) - on-premises may vary
