Requirements
- •Active Twilio account with Voice or Programmable Voice
- •Elastic SIP Trunk for outbound (recommended)
- •Account SID and Auth Token or restricted API Key
How to connect
- 1.In Twilio Console, identify the SIP Domain or Elastic SIP Trunk you want to use
- 2.In Open, go to Settings → Integrations → Twilio and provide the SIP Domain or Trunk SID
- 3.Configure the inbound TwiML or trunk routing to forward to Open
- 4.For outbound, authorize Open to originate calls through your trunk
- 5.Place a test call and verify the trunk routing in Twilio Console + Open dashboard

- Open does not bill carrier minutes — those stay on your Twilio invoice
- Twilio recordings and Open transcripts are both retained per your config
- Works with Twilio Voice, Programmable Voice, Elastic SIP Trunking, and Flex
