How to connect

  1. 1.Register a WhatsApp Business Account via Meta Business Manager (or your BSP)
  2. 2.Verify your business and configure phone numbers
  3. 3.In Open, go to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Business
  4. 4.Provide the Cloud API access token or BSP credentials
  5. 5.Submit message templates for the outbound notifications you need
  6. 6.Verify inbound webhook by sending a test message

  • Direct Cloud API is the cheapest path; BSPs add value with provisioning, billing consolidation, and template review
  • 24-hour conversation window applies to freeform replies; outside that window only approved templates can be sent
