How to connect
- 1.Register a WhatsApp Business Account via Meta Business Manager (or your BSP)
- 2.Verify your business and configure phone numbers
- 3.In Open, go to Settings → Integrations → WhatsApp Business
- 4.Provide the Cloud API access token or BSP credentials
- 5.Submit message templates for the outbound notifications you need
- 6.Verify inbound webhook by sending a test message
Good to know
- Direct Cloud API is the cheapest path; BSPs add value with provisioning, billing consolidation, and template review
- 24-hour conversation window applies to freeform replies; outside that window only approved templates can be sent
